About Me

We're an unemployed, musician couple living out of an RV and traveling this great land of ours. Since we're on a limited budget, we can only afford cheap wines, but which ones are grape-juice with moonshine and which ones are worth your time? We'll give you the answer. Gary Vaynerchuck is all good and fine, but if you want the best wine reviews for the proletariat, look no further!

What?

We like good wine. We drink wine every night (and occasionally day). But since we've sold all our possessions, quit our jobs and are about to live out of a 23 year old rv for the foreseeable future, necessity dictates that we quit drinking good bottles of wine each night and only buy bottles that cost less than $5 (with the occasional $7 bottle on special occasions). But after drinking a lot of horrible cheap wine we figured it might be helpful if someone was out there giving a straight-up review of whether a cheap wine was worth drinking. Surprisingly, a lot of them are. If you have any recommendations, send them to hoodwine@gmail.com and enjoy.

  1. Yo yo I just wanna give a shout out to my man Egri Bikaver (Bull's Blood of Eger) $4.99 at Trader Joe's! The original 40, dogg, with a label I can understand. It'll go right upside yo head
